One Lie.

One Lie is about is about Julie and Mike (you can rename them in-game).

They have been best friends since childhood and trust each other explicitly in everything.

But Julie made a mistake that causes Mike to lose trust in Julie.
She lied to his girlfriend about the closeness of their friendship, which paints Mike as a cheater.

To most it might seem like a small error in judgement said in a moment of anger. But to Mike it meant a lot more than that. Something that has roots going to his very early childhood and the loss of his sister.

Mike makes a decision to leave the town he and Julie grew up in, heartbroken.

Julie regrets her words and attempts to apologize to Mike and his girlfriend for lying. She also admits that she has been in love with Mike for a long time. She decides that she has to make things right. Mike does not deserve the heartbreak. She chases after Mike to seek his forgiveness and to confess her love for him. She hopes that he would at least forgive her.

This game is darker than One Lie, but almost all of the violence will be happening off-screen. 

The game is a Visual novel, the romantic side of the game will be choice-driven. However, there will be some things that are, even if you decide to skip them, canon. For instance, some sex scenes you can skip but they happen regardless. As will some lesbian scenes. The main story will be linear, for the most part. The choices will only relate to how you will choose to deal with some of the people. 

There will be five romantic interests. There will be two throuple routes, but no harem route. 

The picture above is the main cast as of Prologue. There will be more characters added to that picture as the game progresses.

The game takes place in a fictional country, on a fictional planet at a time that is relatively contemporary to ours.

The romance will work differently from what you might be used to with other games. Dating someone does NOT mean you are in a relationship. You will also have a chance to have sex with some characters without being immediately locked into a relationship. 

There is no release information I can give you yet. Patrons are receiving updates as I am working on it and some previews of what I have already done. I am not dedicating a lot of my time to the game yet because One Lie is my priority right now. The other reason I am taking my time with it is that I am hoping to get better hardware so I can do better animations and be able to work faster on the game.

To help me with getting new hardware, license music and buying more Daz3D assets that I want to use in the game I have been trying to promote One Lie a bit more and am going to put One Lie on Steam.

I think this is about as much as I can reveal as yet. I will not be posting many, if any, public updates about this game until I am at least somewhat close to releasing the prologue of the game. Patrons are still going to be getting updates as I am chipping away at it.
